Custom Cabinet Maker

Do you have strong woodworking skills and an eye for detail? We’re looking for the right candidate who can deliver custom cabinets and components. Using the specs provided you will use your building and mathematical skills to create custom cabinets and custom components that meet very specific guidelines. You’ll work alongside the other members of our building team to create an important product that is in high demand. This is a great way to put your carpentry skills to use in an environment where your experience and insight will be sincerely valued. Job Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified
• Verify and double check all calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges, and side panels, always using blueprints or design plans for reference
• Clean and repair all equipment necessary for your work, including handsaws, table saws, skill saws, and a variety of drills and sanding tools
• Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units
• Maintain a safe working environment by cleaning and disposing of old materials, such as nails and screws
• Follow all safety protocols and always utilize the proper PPE
• Work in all areas of the shop as required

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to read, understand and fabricate from blueprints or custom drawings
• Understanding of necessary mathematics
• Knowledge of materials and processing
• Applicable engineering and design skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player – ability and attitude are judged equally

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of cabinetmaking experience

CABINET FINISHER/SPECIALTY FINISHER

This is an exciting opportunity to work Dynamic Kitchens. The main responsibilities of this role are to work alongside the team and execute all daily tasks that are required to maintain our high quality of cabinetry craftsmanship.

We require an experienced spray finisher for custom kitchen and other cabinetry manufactured at our workshop. Must know how to read plans, oversee finishing prep for doors & cabinet parts, prepare paints and stains for spray or spray/wipe and apply them.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience finishing wood and MDF products using our spray systems.

Most importantly, the successful candidate will be a hard worker with a great eye for detail who is committed to learning (or improving) the skill of finishing. At Dynamic Kitchens attitude and ability are judged equally, so you must be a positive team member.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of cabinet finishing experience.
• Stain: Prep/sand/spray and wipe, seal and topcoat wood doors and parts.
• Paint: Prep/sand/prime and paint MDF doors and parts.
• Attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility.
• Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work and promote a safe work environment.
• Strong time management and coordination skills.
• Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
